On July 23, 2016 Brent, much loved and instantly adored by everyone he met, slipped off due to complications from a recent surgery, though not without displaying his tenacity and zest for life to the very end.

Born in Alliston, Ontario (March 10, 1968) to his wonderful parents Tom and June Banyard, Brent and his older brother Jamie spent his formative years moving between Comox, BC, Shearwater, NS and Greenwood, NS as part of his father's work for the Canadian Air Force. Aspiring to be exactly like the man he most admired, his dad, Brent went into the Canadian Air Force straight out of high school, serving for 22 years, first as a Communications and Radar Technician and then as an Airborne Electronic Sensor Operator- his father's trade.

Brent's true passions were his family, friends...and online gaming community. Brent leaves behind the love of his life and soul mate Misty, his parents Tom and June Banyard, his brother Jamie (Christine), nephew Nicholas, extended family members coast to coast, and thousands of friends worldwide.
