It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of our beloved, Husband, Father & Grandfather, Ted Procher on Wednesday, February 8th, 2017 at 4:15PM. Ted is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Sandra, children Jason, Wendy & Kerry Drew, Grandchildren, Jack, Ava & William, his Mother-in-law, Sylvia Ring, also his brother, aunts, uncles, several cousins & their families. Ted was pre-deceased by his Parents, Bill Procher (1982) & Theda (Crowhurst) Procher (2015). Ted was born in Toronto on October 15th, 1943 and joined the Royal Canadian Navy (RCN) in January of 1962. After basic training, in Cornwallis, NS he was stationed at Shearwater, NS with Squadrons VS880 & HS50 as a Naval Airman. Ted served on ships, HMCS Micmac, Fraser & Bonaventure with his last posting in Summerside, PEI with Squadron VP415. After his Naval Service Ted returned to Ontario and became a member of Peel Regional Police Service. His last career, he said, would be a Consultant to Industry with respect to the Transportation of Dangerous Goods while residing in Brampton and Barrie, ON. Ted & Sandy retired to Wilberforce, ON in 2008 wherein Ted enjoyed fishing, all forms of boating and was an active member in the Wilberforce Royal Canadian Legion Branch 624.
