SCHULTZ, Gordon Frank age 74 of Cole Harbour, passed away with his family by his side on Friday, January 5, 2018 in Dartmouth General Hospital. Born in Ottawa, he was a son of the late Henry and Mary (Olsner) Schultz. Gordon grew up and attended school in Ottawa. He served in the Royal Canadian Navy from 1963 retiring in 1998. Gordon enjoyed curling, bowling and was a lifetime member of the Dartmouth Lawn Bowling Club. He was a member of the Roy al Sussex Lodge of the Masons and the Daytime Fairview Lodge. Gordon was a handyman to all friends, family and neighbours. He was always willing to help anyone he met and had a genuine kindness that is hard to find. Gordon is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Anne (Hiltz); sons, of whom he was proud, Raymond (Cathy Lavender), Petite Riviere; David, Cole Harbour; Lawrence (Trisha), Gaspereau; granddaughters, whom he truely adored, Kiersten and Emma; sister, Elsie (George Hickey), Osgoode, Ont.; brother-in-law, Jim Saunders; sisterin- law, Francis Schultz and nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by sister, Betty and brother, Fred.
