Mary passed away in her sleep early Monday morning. She was predeceased by her father Alfred Adams, mother Beatrice Odell and son Wayne. Left to mourn is her loving husband of 37 years David Kelly, her sister Alice Norman; sons John and Augustus (Anna) of St. Johns, Nfld. and Bill of Calgary, AB and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Mary was born in St. John’s, Nfld. and spent her early years on Bell Island. She was an energetic Newfoundlander. Everyone who knew her always mentioned her smile. She enjoyed bowling, playing darts at the Comox Legion and golfing for many years at Glacier Greens and lately Sunnydale. For more than twenty years she attended Aqua-size faithfully three times a week. Mary also looked forward to her lengthy after supper walks with her best friends Frankie and Jessie. Dancing was her passion and she wouldn’t leave the dance floor once the music started.
