LAWTON, Manley James "Jim" CD – 81 of Dartmouth, passed away suddenly in the Dartmouth General Hospital on November 13, 2016. He was the son of the late William and Ruth (Walker) Lawton. Jim served in the Canadian Navy for 25 years at Shearwater, after retiring he ran a charter boat out of Eastern Passage. He enjoyed golf, curling, lawn bowling, singing in the church choir, bell ringing and wood working. He is survived by his devoted companion Juanita "Marie" Eisan, of Dartmouth; brother Ralph, of Mississauga, ON; sister Helen Lawton, of Windsor, ON; nine nephews and three nieces. He was predeceased by his loving wife of 40 years Silvia Walsh and sister, Dorothy Nightingale. Special thank you to the staff of the Dartmouth General Hospital and to St. James United Church.
